Low Mounted AC with SpeedTech Subframe?

Has anyone modified a 1st Gen SpeedTech Pro-Touring Subframe to allow them to low mount a Sanden AC compressor?

I have a LSA motor I will be installing in my 69 Camaro and I would like to use the GMPP Parts modified LSA Accessory Drive Kit. None of the other accessory systems appear to use a separate belt for the supercharger or appear to have very good way of driving the supercharger at higher boost levels.

People using the accessory system I would like to use have successfully notched and boxed the factory subframe and DSE subframe. Just trying to find out if any one has successfully modified a SpeedTech subframe.

      Thanks,

      Dave

Normally we would modify the subframe to fit the compressor, we have done 5 or 6 over the years. Give Kwik Performance a call they have a new bracket set up for the LSA I think?? that uses an even smaller compressor and that may require no or little modification.. the other option although more expensive is Drive Junkies last I herd was working on a front drive with a high mount A/C .

would the low mount compressor on a 5th gen LS3 be the same or similar story as on the LSA?

You don't happen to have any photos of the mod'ed subframe? Good to know they can be mod'ed. I am very anxious to get started putting the LSA motor in the sub and ordering some of your 2" headers.
