Anyone coming next weekend? The Camaro is running and I'll be there making a few laps...... As I live here anyway!

I will be there. Talked to Finch at Midwest Muscle. He will be there. Should be lots of seat time. I have several friends from the STL are coming with. It will be a great time bring the cars out.

Well, that was a good day yesterday! I have no idea how the show was as I was stuck around the cones all day, but the auto-X was a great time. It had been a few years since I had turned any corners (and it shows, LoL!), but I still had a blast! We had to leave a little early to get back and finish getting ready at the house. Had a great time there as well, smoked 37lbs of turkey and 17lbs of pork butt and I think it turned out pretty tasty! Thanks guys for putting together a good event and also for coming out to the house to hang out afterwards.

This was my first time getting to watch the autocross, it was a blast to see how those cars handled. Gave me some good ideas for my Chevelle. All in all the show was great, seems to be getting bigger every year. Glad the weather held out.

Thanks for the invite and the hospitality! It was great getting to kick back and meet people away from the cones

So it was a good time? I had planned to make it out last weekend with the Firebird in primer, but then I realized I don't want to assemble the car in progress, only to blow it all apart once I got it back home.

Yup, it was a blast Josh.

No problem guys, glad that I was able to. It was a late decision to go ahead and do it as my step dad just passed away a couple days earlier. However I think that it was good for me to be with friends to keep my mind where it needed to be. Hopefully next year we'll be in town and we can plan it a little better.

Also, Chic found this online somewhere with the results for the weekend. And I only knocked over one cone Rod! Guess I was driving too conservative! LoL!
