      Knine00's 1967 Chevelle build

I recently finished my 1987 IROC pro-touring 5.3 build. The build went great but I had issues with my daughter's safety while sitting in the rear. I decided to put the car up for sale (still for sale) and build my dream car (67 Chevelle). Most of the fabrication will be done by Jaime from Metaltek MFG. Jamie does great work. You can check out his stuff on facebook under Metaltek MFG. Not sure who is going to do the body work just yet. This Chevelle is going to be a Supercharged LQ4/4L80E Pro-touring beast.

So far I have removed the body from the frame. Sent the frame and rear end to get sand blasted. Right now the frame is getting boxed and setup for the LQ4/4L80E Drivetrain. Check out my pics. I am going to try and update the build as much as possible.

The day she arrived at her new home.

Frame and body are no longer one.

Work on finishing the underside. Trying to get the 45 year old undercoating off. I am using an oscillating tool, small torch, heat gun, and wire wheel. It's very time consuming so if anyone has better ideas please let me know.

Anyone trying to get old undercoating off try a needle scaler. Works great and it's quick!

If you plan on buying from jegs don't. Price match and buy from summit racing. I bought a center trunk pan for jegs. The website said it would ship in 24 hours. I wait a few days and didn't receive any tracking info. I called and they said it would ship that day. I wait another 2 days. Still no tracking, so I called again and they said the same thing. 10 days later I still don't have tracking. I figured it was a mess up so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered some Eastwood internal frame coating from them. I receive the coating in 3 days later but didn't have the 24" nozzle with it. I called jegs and they had to call Eastwood to get one shipped from them. They told me I would receive the nozzle in a week. This is ridiculous. I will never buy from jegs again. They don't ship when they say they will and also ships incomplete. There is my rant lol!
