      Lowering my engine?

I'm looking at lowering my 350 in a 68 Nova. Can anyone tell me if they have done this, how much do I need to drop to see a gain if any? Ft end is dse kit with 2" spring drop.

      Lowering my engine?

What are you trying to gain exactly? Center of gravity?

Man, if anything, I wish my engine were a bit higher.

Yes just wondering how much I would need to remove or if it's worth looking at to gain a lower center of gravity.

You probably don't have oil pan clearance to do that. I don't think you would gain anything noticeable from doing that anyway.

if you want to move the engine....moving the engine rearward into the firewall on most muscle cars will net you the biggest gain, this will change the weight balance.....your going to need scales and time to put everything in the car then move the engine around
