      1967 camaro and 120x5 wheels

I´m thinking of bying these wheels for my camaro 120x5x17x8,5 and the et number is 20? What does the 20 mean? Will those fit in the original wheels housing, my car is lowered about 2" and do i need less et in the front? These are bmw wheels i think. i can get the front ones also with et number 15. oh and the wheel is lemans gold.

The bolt pattern is off by enough that you will never get the wheel to run true, and more importantly you are forcing the wheel stud to bend like a palm tree in a hurricane. Don't do it!

theres many who have done this and said that theres no shaking etc at all and wheels fit like original one. only one millimeter difference per side comapred to original wheels.

      Et means offset
google image backspace vs offset(et) and use one of the charts to figure out what your current wheel offset(et) is
The best online wheel calculator I know of is willtheyfit.com
You put in your current wheel and tire specs and the new wheel and tire specs and it overlays them both on top of each other and tells you the inner/outer and diameter differences
As far as the 5x120 debate is concerned you could get some arp wheel studs for peace of mind. $60 for a set is cheap insurance.

Technically, a 120x5 bolt pattern wheel should not be used on a 4.75" x 5 hub. In reality, they are so close that I have never heard of anyone who has had a problem doing it. Just tighten the lugs in a star pattern in small torque increments.

Would it be possible or advised to relieve the wheel holes equally in order to take the bind out?

For those concerned with the difference in lug pattern, here's a fix

      http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/wheel...t-pattern.html

      That cutter is like $60.

If you are ever running 5x120 wheels and need a spacer anyway, you can get 5x4.75 to 5x120 adapters.

Would it not be possible to have the axle flanges/rotors drilled with an extra set of holes in the 5x120 pattern?

It is possible..... But why bother with it when 5x120 will work fine?

I am running 5x120 xxr's and they work fine as is, plenty of other people run 5x120 as well without issues. In fact I don't know of anyone who has had an issue. My 5x120 wheels actually seem to fit better than the boss 338's that were 5x4.75. Here is a pic for reference.

This is possible, and is exactly what I did to run my BBS wheels. In my case, my build required new axles, hubs, rotors, etc anyway so it wasn't a big deal to incorporate the extra bolt spacing for 5x120.

that looks great!.. are those 19s?

I will say this that the BMW wheels I had put on the Camaro had to have the center hub clearanced

Thanks man, greatly appreciated especially coming from you as your cars always had great stance!
They are 20x11 in the back and 18x9.5 up front.

Who did you get your axles from? I emailed Moser to inquire if they would build me a dual pattern set (5x4.75 and 5x120mm).

What should I be looking for in 5x120mm in regards to offset? For a '67 El Camino, how would something like this relate? http://www.ebay.com/itm/181798686864...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
