Hose fitting on DSE power rack

I'm trying to get hoses on the rack, I can get the forward Hose on, but the rear return hose, there is just no room , not only for the wrench, but the hose diameter. What am I doing wrong?

      i think I need this?

On the first gen it was very tight. I put the back line on first and tightened it, then the front line. Had just enough room to tighten them, wrench moving maybe a 1/16 of turn each time. Think I had to keep flipping the wrench over after each turn for it fit back on the fitting.

There's no physical room for two hoses. I guess you need to use the above part?

The hose kit I got from DSE had the elbows on both hoses. Here's a couple pics from a first gen. Its really tight but these might help.

Thank you! Did that -6 hose fit over the plastic nipple on the PS reservoir?

I'm using the C5 set-up. The nipple looks like a tight fit

Anyone else with inputs? Is it not possible to have the hoses facing the same direction?

You might be able to route them differently w vette access. The alt on my F body setup sits very low and there was less bind in the line for me to route them the way I did. The nipple was snug, so just take care installing it. I used the dab of dish soap. That nipple brakes fairly easily. Once you get everything mocked up you'll know where to route things. I mocked them up just finger tight several times to figure out what fit best.

You could if the one 90 was taller than the other. That or you can use a female to male adapter to make the 90 bend taller.

I started messing with mine today and man that -6 is going to be tight over the power steering reservoir. You are also right to get those fittings in the best way is to put the back one in first and then the other. Still a very tight fit.

      Update

Just finished mine today. I bought a slip on 45 degree for the back hose since its a return and theres not a lot of pressure. I put the back fitting on first. Used shrink wrap hose clamps and slide in over the hose and put the hose on the fitting. Heated up the shrink wrap and the hose was good to go. Then i installed the pressure hose. Still everything was a PITA. Took me about 25 min for two fittings

What part # did you use? I ended up just making a 45 degree elbow with tubing.
