Kore3 zo6 rear brakes + Rear Diff options

I'm going the kore3 route for my brakes and would like a little enlightenment concerning the parking brake and differential. I would really rather use a cable brake over a wet system.

As far as I've investigated so far it seems I have a few options.

1) Run a stock housing and keep the cable parking brake.

2)Run a Moser 9"/12 bolt and loose the cable parking brake.

3) Hope that someone here can tell me how to get the best of both worlds.

Ryan, what is a wet system? I am using the cable with my Kore 3 stuff and 9 inch, it works great. BTW, what part of SD are you in? I just moved to Chula Vista a couple of weeks ago.

I mean hydraulic e-brake. Is yours a moser or just a Ford 9"?

You do not want a hydraulic park brake system. Every hydraulic system, no matter how well sealed, will leak down over time. It may take a long time but it will eventually release the park brake. That is why cable actuated park brakes are the norm. If you are running a conventional "bearing on axle" setup the stock park brake system is the most cost effective way to go. However, if you are running a floating hub rear end like my Moser floater, a separate park brake caliper is about the only alternative available.

I think the OP's post is a little confusing.
I looked at those calipers you listed a while back, looks like the ones the GMR used to carry. Seems like pinion mounted parking brake would work with a floater too...

I wanted to run the full floating hub moser 9" and Kore3 with a parking brake.
The full floater rear will not work with the stock parking brake.

You can use those calipers that Steve has shown you or if you really want to use the factory style backing plates do what Ron did here in post #24

You'll have to make your own custom rotor hat adaptation.

The floater rear makes parking brakes a challenge. I looked at the pinion park brakes but that requires a rotor mounted on the pinion yoke. The pinion kits are really cost effective but I was concerned about ground clearance and frankly it looks like a truck park brake. The IPSCO spot calipers are very nice pieces, I have them already, but they are more money. I just need to fab a simple weld on mount then use the E-Stopp actuator to control them.
