      RAFT stickers?

Hey guys, does anyone know what these "RAFT" stickers are that I keep seeing on the back windows of a bunch of pro touring cars? I have been to a couple SCCA events and seen them on the older pro touring muscle cars and I just noticed the same sticker on the back of Danny Popp's Corvette. What does it mean?

      RAFT stickers?

I believe it's something Danny started. From what I know it means (rip and f-ing tear). Because that's what he does. I'm sure you need to meet a certain criteria to get one...

I understand that, but how can they be cool at all if nobody knows what they are/mean fur sure and how you attain one? I have seen guys here in AZ with them on their cars at SCCA autocross events. How did they get blessed with them?

My guess is you would need to be a friend of Danny Popp. If I surmise correctly RAFT Motorsports may be Danny's business away from his day job.

It's sounds to me like a somewhat "elitist" "pro" class driver club thing. Not for us regular guys to be privy to.

You're definitely reading too much into it. The guys that have those decals have had their cars worked on by Danny. He sets up cars, teaches people how to drive, sells parts etc. Mostly Corvettes but Danny worked with Larry Woo and his awesome '68 Camaro, Cris @ JCG has also worked with him on Karl Dunn's Blu Balz Camaro. The guy knows what he's doing.

It's not something for everyone to have on their car. You wouldn't run Detroit Speed decals if you didn't have any affiliation with them would you?

Danny works on a lot of C6 Corvettes too .

You get a RAFT Sticker if RAFT works on your car .
RAFT works on cars, tunes them , sets them up for the track, builds and installs engines , camshafts ,different things like that.
They pretty much build and modify cars into great track cars .
