pro car seats in 67 camaro

I am looking to upgrade my stock front seats. I want something more comfortable for cruising. My interior is mostly stock. I have looked at the pro car rally two smooth backs. They look closest to stock material. Do they come with all brackets needed? I have also read that other brackets are better? Also does anyone know if there are options out there that look kind of stock like the pro car seats? Any feedback is appreciated.

      David,

I have modified Pro Car Rallys in my 67. I have used their standard brackets but modified as well. The standard bracket had the seats up to high so I just swapped the L tabs on the brackets for some straight tabs and gained about an additional 1 1/2" of head room clearance. I am 5'10" and have a fair bit of head room now. Sorry I don't have a beet pick of the seats but hopefully this give you an idea.

I used some custom brackets from Wedge Engineering. From what I've been told, the company was sold, and they don't fabricate custom stuff any longer.

When you purchased the seats do they come with the brackets or are they separate? I like those seats and think that's what I want to region the stock look.

I just went to her web site. Judging by the pictures, she does some really nice work! I did notice that most of the pictures were of later model Camaro's. Does she do the early first gen Camaro's?

I am also building a 69. I would like to have a racing seat like the pro car but covered in a hounds tooth look. I saw that on her website. If I go this route do I send her my front an back seats or can she make the covers and send to me?

If you purchase the same seats pictured above (without) the covers which they do sell I can make the seat upholstery for you and send it to you to install yourself. Depending on exactly what type of material you want I can make them for a pretty good price. I have a pattern for the back seat, but if you wanted me to install the cover on the back then you would have to send me your back seat bottom and top sections. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes I can do first gen Camaros. I would just have to have one front seat cover as a pattern if your wanting to install them yourself or if you want to send me your seats I can install them too. I can't do the heat press pattern though because it takes a special machine to do that. I can do the custom stuff though. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sorry for the late reply. The console is a MCI fiberglass unit I had wrapped in leather. MCI is a sponsor on this site, they offer a few different designs that will work in the Camaros.
