I have a block of 35 rooms set aside for us for about $109 a night across the street from the convention center.

Excalibur is almost always the cheapest. I booked my flight and hotel together and saved a ton, its $300 for 4 nights at MGM and 2 plane tickets round trip. Ill be at SEMA every day and bug out early on Friday for a race that weekend.

One thing I did notice is that the SEMA booking prices are usually really good, especially if you want to stay there at the Hilton, its generally 10% better than you can find anywhere online.

Stayed at ballys and it was a pretty good deal last year. I can't remember how much and don't want to lie but I would definitely check into see how much. They also had a shuttle bus was pretty convenient.

I usually stay at the Stratosphere, pretty cheap rooms and they are kinda nice... not to mention being able to go up to the top for free and see all of Vegas from the top
