Well I have been working hard to have my interior and trunk redone. We cut 4 inches out of the 4th gen seats and slimmed the top up. Added new plush carpet, redid the door panels and added a Lokar shifter.

Which shifter did you use? Was it the floor mounted cable version?

Tony, yes I used the floor mount cable version. It is the 6" shifter.

Hi Scott...nice work on your 69. I love the interior...a couple of questions for you if you dont mind...on the 4th gen seats, are they plug and play? I noticed you said you cut about 4 inches out of them. Is that off the top or the sides. Also, did you have the seats custom upholstered or did you get the 4th gen houndstooth seat covers from PUI? I have the white deluxe houndstooth in my 69 and have been thinking of doing the 4th gen swap and found out that PUI offers matching 69 houndstooth 4th gen seat covers like Year One used in thier build. Thanks! Jeff

Jeff...Thanks, the front bolts on the seats line up with the stock holes. Had to cut the tabs off the rear of the seats and re weld on to line up with rear holes. The 4 inches was cut out of the top of the seats. As for the material, I bought just the houndstooth material and had the seats sewn up. If you don't cut the seats down the PUI covers will fit nicely.
