Well, I finally mocked up my Rushforths to see how they fit. When I ordered them I knew I was going to have to roll the lip and modifiy the exhaust but it turned out better than I thought. I still have alot of work to do tho.

They are 20x10 and 18x8 super spokes

Let me know what you guys think.

Kal,

The wheels & stance look really good, but please don't leave the rear drums painted orange. There's no sense drawing attention away from the high dollar wheels to a big ol' pair of ugly drum brakes.

I agree... its just my bro wanted to paint them. I'm planning on getting some disc brakes but the money just isn't there right now.

Thanks!!

Wheel and stance are everything and you've got them both! Looks great! Bold color choice for a 66 too!

Drop us some photos when you get it all together and we'll be sure to put them on the website.

Thanks for your business. We appreciate it!

Thanks guys!

I'll have to start a project tread now and let everyone know what the plans are for the car.

I don't plan on keeping it the same color and the stance is by air ride :)

the car or the drums? that color looks pretty sick. if you really want to change it, talk jason into doing a rendering for you that adds something to that color. he just finished my rendering and his work is friggin INSANE!!!!

I'm changing the color of the car.

I have plans to do a two tone paint job... the drums are going to be the future color of the car. If you've seen the 66 gto for V8 tv thats a pretty close paint scheme. From the body line up will be hugger orange (the drum color) and from the body line down will be a gun metal gray. There will be a thin white line in between the two colors.

I know it sounds exactly like the V8 GTO but I've have this planned for at least 3 years and I'm not going to change it now. They copied me! :) ha ha

I went with 20x10 with a 285/30 tire and 18x8 with 245/40 tire. I believe the backspacing was 5 3/4" in the back and 4 5/8" in the front... if i remember correctly.

With the 5 3/4" backspacing I'll have to roll the lip of the wheel well but i wanted the extra space for my 3" tail pipe. Which i will have to modify a bit.

Hmm im starting to like how a 285 looks, at first i thought they always looked small seeing the GTOs are wide cars. yours looks almost perfect. One last question, when you said "stance is from airride" do you have the airride street challenge kit on there??

Are you talking about sidewall or tire width? cuz i think 285's look awesome from the back.

I have shockwaves in front and cool ride in the back... no street challenge kit :(

was talking about the tire width, i thought up something that may work to run a 305 tire on the rear with out touching the frame only the wheel wells, may still try it, if not the 285 looks good enough for me :)

Here is a pic from the back to give you a idea of what the width looks like. IMO the wider the better :) Jope this helps.
