      New Business Venture

I have started a business along with the help of my wife. The new business is called MODO INNOVATIONS it is an LLC.
To start with, we will be manufacturing aluminum pedals for the 1st and 2nd gen camaros, as well as the '00 to present GM trucks. I will have some pics later this week of the pedals. We are doing a small run the first go round to see how it goes. Look for more innovations to come. No web site yet...

Yes, I have two other ideas floating around in my head. I will have more info in the future.

I will have pics, and prices of the pedals to post later this week.

Thanks for the words of encouragement,

Good Luck, I would be in for a set.... Are you making them out of Billet or are they just covers?

They are a 2 piece design cover. They are made of 1/8" 6016-T6 aluminum designed to fit certain vehicles, not universal like you find at your local Pep Boys or Autozone.

      Thanks,
      Shannon

Make sure there are not any screws that hang way out the back side. A problem some guys have with pedal covers is the screws that hang out the back. If your shoe lace gets caught on a screw when you are trying to make a panic stop...there is a chance you will wreck your car. It sounds far fetched... but I've seen it happen. The screws were hanging out the back about 1/4". Just enough to catch the lace and keep him from getting his foot on the pedal. He wrecked the frontend of his nice 67 Mustang.

      Just providing information...

      Point well taken

I use lock nuts on the back side of the pedals. They are a little taller than a regular nut but I feel better about having a secure pedal than having to worry about them coming off while I am driving.
