      Baseball anyone?

      It's certified: I'm nuts.

I just agreed to a baseball game trip with my friends. 5 stadiums in 5 days. Fly into Baltimore (I live in socal) drive straight from teh airport to camden yards. After the game, drive to pittsburgh. Next day, pirates game, then hit hte road for philly. Next day phillies game, then hit the road for D.C. Nationals game, then cap off the trip with opening day redskins/bears game.

      Crazy? I say yes.

haha yeah, I forgot to mention the last game's a football game. Figured it would explain itself by the 'opening day' mention. My bad!

I am happy for you if that is what turns you on, personally I would rather watch grass grow. Never did like a game where the primary objective was to PREVENT action. Friend of mine is a HUGE an, was all jacked cause he drove 440 miles to Atlanta and saw a no hitter. Wow, that was exciting.

      Now racing, that's cool!

      Seriously though, have fun.

Sad part is....I'm not that interested in baseball either. I'm a designer (soon to be architect) and am quite intrigued by stadiums. I'm more in it for the hectic schedule than anything else.....and the football game haha

Racing IS cool. I've got 2 F1 races under my belt now, unfortunately I can't count Indy this year:( *******s!

One of my most favorite races ever was watching the trans-am series cars race around laguna seca at the historics a few years back. THose guys were agressive with a capital A! And the coolness factor of all those cars on the track racing was just thru the roof. So cool.

Baseball is the greatest game invented by man.

I was at the Washington Nationals / Cincinnati Reds game last night. I even managed to get an autograph from Ray Olmedo (Cincinnati reserver infielder) for my son. I'll be at the Nats/Reds game tomorrow afternoon too.

I've been a Reds fan since 1969 when my Dad took me to see the Reds at old Crosley field (in Cincinnati for those less versed in the game). My current car habit is a pale substitute for my boyhood dream of playing baseball in the major leagues.

I can even spell Cincinnati without help.

Anyway, sounds like a great road trip.

If your into design and architecture you will love camdam yards it is the best stadium in MLB and what everyone is trying to copy now I still remember going to work with my dad downtown when it was just a bunch of crapy old warehouses in a crapy part of the city (can we say urban revitalization) it is defiantly a cool place to check out a game to bad the orioles suck this year like always. The harbor and fells point are also cool places if to go if you have time and not to far away from the stadium.

Always wanted to do something similar only at football stadiums. Travel to all the different stadiums would be fun.

      Have a good time.

JP: Sounds like me! Just change 'Reds' with '49ers'.... oh and change the '1969' part too...;)

B Schein: Yes, Camden Yards has been voted 'most beautiful stadium' so many times now, I'm quite excited to check it out. Luckily, Baltimore I get a full mornin to check out, so I'll see what I can Although I'm not a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan, I'm also going to see Fallingwater too. I mean I'm so close, I'd be a fool not to go.

mdprovee: Let me know when you're goin, I'll tag along! I've been trying to convince these guys to do football next year; we'll see how that goes. BTW, Soldier Field in Chicago is quite a sight now!

Sounds cool. Not much of a Baseball fan myself either, but I am going to the Yankee's game in the Bronx this Saturday. My father has been a huge Yankee's fan all of his life and so my sister and I are taking him to a game in the Bronx for his 60th birthday. Plus we got free tickets to sit in the club seats right behind the 3rd base dugout. 12 rows from the field!

Too bad you can't make it up a little farther North for a Bills game. If there is one thing that we do well in Buffalo it is Tailgating.

      Have fun.

I agree with B Schein, Camden Yards is great. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but I go just to enjoy the stadium. If you have time, check out the ESPN Zone at the inner harbor. Just a few blocks away.

Also check out Pickles Pub, before the game. It's at the North end, acrossed the street.

Camden Yards is awesome. Been there, and to the port outside of there. Great place to hang out. I love baseball, and honestly can say that SBC Park here in San Francisco is the best place to watch a game. I go there and I can't tell I'm in the City. You can also see all the way across the bay if you're sitting on the first base side. Let me know and I'll look into tickets if you want to come up.
