      AC Compresser notch panel

Sometime during all my internet reading I came across someone who made a pre-formed piece that was made for notching the subframe for a passenger side low mount AC compressor. It my memory thought it was DSE, but couldnt find it on their site.

Any help here for an old guy with a bad memory???

      hifi,

Any details on your setup? I have a notched frame as well, but have not got the power plant in it yet. What compressor you running? Drive setup?

      Thanks,
      Jack~

GM part # 12593247 bracket and Dorman #419-109 tensioner

The bracket required EXTENSIVE modification that could NOT be done by most. I had to modify and move the entire bracket rearward 0.400" but was able to finally get it to run in the original position and off the 4-rib belt. I have JUST enough clearance between the compressor and engine mount for the head of the through bolt, and will have to modify one leg of the stand when doing the frame notch.
