      Very General Paint Question

I am trying to get a ballpark idea of what a complete paint job would be for a 1st gen Camaro. I know there are a ton of variables that can affect the cost. So, let’s assume no rust or body repair. Car was painted once before. I am going with original GM color of Garnet Red. On frame paint job - doors, trunk, and hood removed. Jams to be painted. Everything else masked off. Not looking for show quality, but a very good paint job.

Thanks for the info. I now have some idea what I am looking at. I posted this question in several places and the consonances was about 3,000 to 5,000 for a good quality paint job.

My camaro was painted last week. Without all of the body work, I would say the spraying of the color, color sanding and buffing will run me about $2500-$3000. The materials were about $2000. This is for a show quality, 2 toned car with a stripe that goes into the door jams and through the engine compartment. The body work to get it to this paint was much more than that.
