      Is it worth it

Came across a 95 LT1, 4l60e and computer harness and fuse box for $500 maybe get it for $400 does have alot of miles on but it would be getting rebuilt anyhow. It does run and drive, is it worth getting.

For not much more you could get a 5.3 LS style motor/trans/harness/ecm, which I'd think you'd be happier with. Whats the eng/trans out of? How high are miles? Will trans need rebuild? If you end up rebuilding the motor/trans it probably isnt worth it.

200k on miles. The trans I would get rid of cuz I want t56. People around here want $2500 for those motors

I would pass. $2500 for a 5.3 isnt even in the ballpark around here. Salvage yards here have 15-20 of them selling $500-900 pending on miles/condition.

Ok thanks for the answer. If I could find an LS for that price I be all over it. Whats the power and modiblity difference between LS 5.3 and 6.0

You can do the exact same mods to an LS 5.3 that you can do to a LS 6.0. All things equal, the 6.0 will make the most power.

I would rather have the individual coil pack setup of an ls over an optispark any day.
