MOPAR part vendors

I need some help finding pro-touring parts for a 1968 Coronet. Seems like all the vendors out there specialize in either Chevy or Ford. If they do have MOPAR parts, it seems to be very limited. Not much love for the MOPAR owners. I wish I was skilled enough to fabricate most of this stuff myself...but that isn't gonna happen.

I plan on throwing the links in this post if I get some feedback. Some other members may have the same issue.

The only one I know of at the moment is XV Engineering.



I would really appreciate some feedback.

[69 Charger 440]

I use the Hotchkis TVS setup on my 69 Charger and love it. All of it is bolt on (except sub frame connectors) so no heavy fabrication or cutting to make it all fit. Works great with their new Fox/Hotchkis shocks and gives a huge improvement in the handling department. No complaints from me with Hotchkis parts.

Another great company is Firm Feel inc. They have full suspension kits and offer a firmer steering box that is a must if you want the steering to feel like a modern race car.

If you are looking to ditch the factory K-member check out Reilly Motorsports. I hear great things about their setups and they offer tubular k-members and a 4 link rear setup.

Another great vendor is Doctor Diff. Great quality products and service. He has brake kits that use a viper caliper with 14" or 13" rotors, axles, rear ends, and master cylinders. http://www.doctordiff.com/

XV has had some bad press lately. I have ordered a bunch of small parts from them and they have been great. But others have complained about crap quality and bad customer service regarding their full suspension setup. It does look good though.

There are plenty of other companies that offer parts for Mopars but the above are the only companies I have dealt with. Others that have great parts are: QA1, Magnumforce racing, PST Suspensions, ridetech, Schwartz Performance, Baer brakes, and Wilwood brakes.

Looking for some drop leaf springs. The biggest drop i could find was Hotchkis with a 1 inch drop.

Talk to Firm Feel. They offer 1" and zero arch oval track spring along with the required hangers to match up their alternate lengths. You also might call Espo Springs and Things. They can custom build leaf packs in plus or minus heights on request.

There also are Speeedway, Afco, and Landrum, but be aware that using their springs, which are based off the Mopar oval Track springs, require different hangers than stock.

in their stock set up, you should only have a couple of inches of arch, tops. Might need to look into drop hangers and replace the shackles with sliders.

And becareful, you are going to run out of tunnel clearance for your driveshaft and pinion really quick when you go lower than the Hotchkis Springs.
