Custom Stainless Flat Caps - Vintage Wheel Works

Attention Vintage Wheel Works v40 and v45 owners:
I was not too thrilled with the poor design of the available flat caps for these wheels...the profile is clearly picked up from something for another wheel and the fit and profile was all wrong. I redesigned the full profile and had them lasered from .120 304 stainless steel. They are now perfectly contoured to the center hub of the wheels. See pics. I had max yield cut from my ss sheet so I have around 5-6 sets that I am looking to sell.

These will fit any size v40 or v45. I'm unsure if they will work on American Racing but I have heard that people do use the orig VWW caps on ARE wheels so the bolt pattern is likely the same.

VWW gets $80/set for their stainless caps. I'm looking for $55/set including shipping to continental US.

Shoot me a reply or PM if interested.

Those are how VWW should have designed them in the first place.

Nice job and thanks for helping out the fellow members.

Thx. The ones VWW sells are just terrible and I offered a few sets of mine to them for cheap. They declined...nice...

Although I am not at all unsatisfied with the flat caps I got from VWW I am definitely interested in yours!

      One set left!!

I also have a set with a small nick on one face that would be wiped out by a quick polishing - $40/set for that one.

My set showed up and look great. I will post a picture when my new tires arrive and we remount the wheels. Always more steps than there should be...

Just out of curiosity, are you planning to run anymore of these or is it a done deal? If I end up going with VWW wheels this winter, I would absolutly be buying your set. the VWW pieces are terrible.
