      Is my subframe off center?

I just got a 68 camaro, and when I lowered it I noticed that the front drivers side wheel is inside the fender about half an inch and the passenger side is lined up with the outside of the fender lip. Is my whole subframe off-center? or could it be something else? It was like this before I lowered it, but you couldn't see it.

If anyone has any insight here please let me know. Thanks!

(I can post pics if it would help)

Could also be your alignment, or I've even seen the bodies tweaked - say, one quarter panel was welded on too far forward and throws the gaps off, moving the front end over. If you lowered the suspension you should get it aligned anyways.

How would an alignment move the front passenger wheel inward? The fenders and everything line up with the door it is just the wheel sticks out anther half inch compared to the other side?

Check your camber. It moves the tops of the wheels in/out.

Do you know if the fenders are the same manufacture? I had a similar problem and one day while looking at them noticed both fenders were shaped slightly different. I think the guy who owned it before me used a cheap knock off on one side. Change the fenders and it helped out. Also take it to a frame shop and have them check it out. It might have been damaged/repaired but still not be totally straight.
