      Pedal questions

      Hey guys,

I'm making my 3rd (and hopefully last) set of pedals for II Much this week. Can any of you guys with complete cars tell me how high the brake and clutch pedals are from the floor?

Also, how much room should I allow for carpet and pad?

      thanks!!!

I have a '68 Camaro and my brake pedal is about 3" from the firewall and 4.5" straight up from the floor. That is measured from the bottom backside of the pedal. My clutch pedal sticks out quite a bit further. It is about 6" from the firewall and 6" straight up from the floor.

Can't help with the carpet and pad thickness.

      Woody,

Thanks! I'm cutting the pedal now based on that measurement.

      JP,

I am not sure if I would trust anyone that has a woody 4.5" from the floor.

I have an unlimited budget. That bad part is I have already used it up.
