Bell crank/short hydroboost setup?

I'm picturing a master cylinder mounted backwards and above a hydroboost unit actuated by a bell crank. I think this would keep the overall length just a couple of inches longer than the hydroboost unit itself.

Anyone ever make something like this? I could build it from scratch (and may have to) but it would be easier to buy if it's already out there.
