      frame swap???

Skylarks are A-bodies, Monte's are G-bodies,, so no. The A-body chassis are shorter under the hood compared to the early G's, too.

the monte carlo frame is the same as a wagon frame.so I thought a 4 door frame would be the same.also isn't a gbody a 78'to88'?

Hmm if it's the same as the wagon you may be right- but no the G-body designation was also 70-72 Monte's; 1973+ Monte's were A-bodies.

Why would you worry about a 4 door frame? I assume you must have one or can get one for free.

Monte Carlo frames are widely available and CHEAP! $100 or less in many instances. I recently junked one as NOBODY was interested!

      Hey man,
If you are in need of a monte frame let me know. I used to live in Hazleton and I know most of the guys doing restorations or selling off parts. Maybe they can find you a frame.

I have A TON of 70-72 Chevelle parts in my garage in Hazleton. PM what you need and we can work something out. I can probably have my brother meet you.
