      Ridetech airbar problem

Hi guy iam trying to find out if anyone has had this problem with their air bar. I have a 1970 mustang with a ridetech airbar that i have had in the car since the early 2000s. its a 4link with new ridetech coils. My problem is that the center section where there is flat stock that connects to the body with bolts under the rear seat area under the car has bent. By bent i mean that the flat stock and bowed out from the body, throwing everything out of wack and i ate up some bushings up to. The section iam talking about is right across for the air bar logo in the picture. It seems that ridetech has addressed the issue by reinforceing the area by adding 3 pieces of flat stock around the area. Does anyone have any experience with this issue. Dont get me wrong I do love my ridetech system, Just this issue is holding me back because i dont want to spend 1300 on a hole new setup with just the main airbar being the problem.
      Thanks
      Rich

I would call ridetech, I bet they would swing you a deal on just the carriage without the other bits...

I think we can likely fix what you have. Shoot me some pictures of the actual components under the car if you can (bret@ridetech.com)
Worst case we'll make you a deal on a whole new cradle.

Hi all i just want to give a quick update, the folks over at ridetech gave me a few options on fixing my issue. I went with getting a new cradle which they helped me out with. I have to say the stand by their products and customers.
