      1969 Lemans Conv

Just pulled the motor and entire front suspension apart on my car. i was originally just going to rebuild the stock controll arms with either rubber or poly, but then started thinking of other options. I always wanted to have the ability to lower the car and now looking into Ridetec's level 2 package. Any comments? The car is a good driver. It has a 396 chevy, 350 turbo, stock rear and probably at some point will replace it. I would like to play on the Autocross, but more to handle, perform and look better lowered. Any help would be appreciated. Has anyone used this setup?

      Hello,

Have you looked at a hybrid coil over kit for the front? They are direct bolt ins and will work with your factory a-arms or aftermarket a-arms. They allow height adjustments of 0 to 3" lower. Below is a link for some information. Hope this helps!

Currently putting together a 69 chevelle conv, also hoping to hit the occasional autocross but just wanted better performance and looks. I ended up going with UMI's stage 4 kit with the Viking Hybrid coil overs that Ryan linked. Not on the road yet so I can't tell you how well it works. Very happy with the kit so far. Thru on some brakes from Kore3 too. Both great to deal with.
That being said, don't think you could go wrong with ridetech either.

I usually ask a few questions before I make any suggestions to determine the best possible bang for the buck.

I think many guys spend more than they need or will use. I pride myself in asking as many questions as possible before making a decision on what is best for the customers hard earned money.

First question is what do you have for goals for the car once it is done?

Is it going to be more of a daily driver/weekend cruiser or Pro-Touring/handling machine?

Second question is do you need and/or plan to improve the braking & steering systems to compliment any suspension upgrades?

Third question is do you have a specific budget in mind?

Lastly, do you plan to do the work yourself?
