      1st Gen Fender choice?

      Has anyone one used the Classic industries "USA made fender stamped on original die's" versus their standard overseas OER fender...is it worth the extra $400 a fender for fitment or is AMD just as good.

      From my experience, nothing reproduced fits like original GM. I have even had problems getting original GM parts to fit properly. Everything will need extra work to fit properly, albiet GM or repop. The GM stuff just takes less work to get a proper fit.

      If its truly stamped on "original dies", I'd be scared to think of what it looks like. Even NOS panels got crappy over time, since the dies wear out. If their stamping panels on 45-year old dies, they must be terrible.
