I put this setup in my 1980 Camaro last summer. It was real easy to splice into the existing harness with the instructions they sent. All the wires in the harness are labelled and they came all the connectors required. Its a real nice upgrade to the old gauges. I have the Ultra lite 2 gauges.

I used a blank non drilled from them for my 79 Camaro and custom cut holes for 5" tach and speedo. Used Autometer and Painless universal gauge hearness. Easy enough to cut into factory harness but get the correct crimper for the terminals. Used some extra aluminum in front and behind to stiffen it up some also.

The holes for the 79 were not quite right on and I had to redrill several and use a scew with a countersunk washer(like tirm panels often use) to cover the larger hole.

I wired mine the hard way. If you think of it one wire at a time, it's not so complicated. Welcome to the good gauge club.
