      Mustang data plate geeks!

I gotta weird one here. 69 Mustang and everything jives but the color code. It is stamped 5 and it matches the build sheet as well. Car has a crappy red paint job on it now but it is chipped in a few spots and is showing through grabber blue. When we got the carpet out of the car the floors are all grabber blue.

None of my books show 5 or grabber blue in 69.......I'm stumped.

Right, if it is the second digit. It is the only digit. Thanks for that link!

      Just found this thread http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vi...-code-5-a.html

Apparently no digit followed by 5 is special order color. So a Grabber Blue GT500.

so it can indicate a grabber color but the actual color will be on the build sheet. good to know.
