      Spare Tire Help

I would like to put a spare tire in the trunk for my 66 GTO and am wondering what late model factory spares out there will fit Wilwood brakes on a standard bolt pattern.

I use a spare out of a late model GTO. It is 17", fits a 5 x 4-3/4" bolt pattern, and looks pretty good.

You have tried this? I see the latemodel gto spares are 120 mm or 4.72". Close enough for a spare?

Nice...but $300. I have a old 245-40r18 that I could use as a spare but I still need an affordable wheel.

Not sure if it'll work with your combo, but I grabbed a 17" donut spare out of a Vette for my car. Compact in size, has the right overall diameter, and it should wrap around many brake set ups out there. I got it for free from a friend, and I've have wrecking yards tell me I could have all the donut spares I felt inclined to carry out of there for free.

Is it a c4 spare? The c5 and c6 had run flats and didn't have spares right?

I'm probably the only person crazy enough to spend $300 for a spare but I wanted something really nice. Plus it was the only one I could find to fit over the Z51 brakes.

Does anyone know if these GTO spares will fit over 14" C6 brakes? I see a good number of them on ebay for around $125-$150.
