      Water Pump Rotation?

      Just purchased a serpentine system for my Chevelle. It states I need to use a reverse rotation water pump.

      When facing the front of my car/grille, my fan rotates clockwise.

      Is that standard or reverse rotation?



      I would think standard, but maybe I'm supposed to be looking from the other direction.

      Silly question, I guess...but I need to know.

      Correct. You have standard rotation. Serpentine setups have the belt going under the water pump pulley vs over it like stock. Therefore the need for reverse rotation.
