Haven't had a lot of time here lately, but have manage a small amount of work. We finished the rotisserie at school. The boys really enjoyed working on it. Some of them will be marking welding of the things they should do in life, but it was fun none the less. Brought it home Friday, and Saturday was mostly booked already. We did manage to get the frame out from under the car though. With much jacking, blocking, move and repeat we finally got the car high enough. Of course I had excellent "help" as you can see. Tonight after some school work we managed to get back downstairs and get the car on the "turner" as my technicians would say. My dad had a good Idea we incorporated in the rotisserie. Just a good old fashioned flex plate and a pinion gear. I still haven't turned the car all the way over and did swing it back and forth a little. Next on the list is a little clean up in the work area and start pressure washing the frame. We are going to re-weld the seams and ad some bracing and stiffing features.

      Here is an update.
Worked on the frame tonight. I am on spring break this week, so I have a goal of getting all the seams ground and welded. Called around and got some prices on some tubing. Looking for some opinions on ERW or DOM. I plan on doing something similar to HPI Customs as far as bracing under the car. Looking for some engineering minds as far as what I will be asking this tube to do. I will post it up in the fabrication forum. Any way hear are a couple pictures.
First, the car was out 1/4 so I was able to pull that pretty easy. It is now within a 1/16.

Next I started working on the seams and welded some.

Here is a better shot. I am still learning and adjusting my technique. The welder is a Lincoln 140C with .023wire.
