      69 steering box Q

My stock power steering box is leaking now and it may be a good time to get a good one. What should I go for that won't break the bank and has the exact same demensions of the stocker? Because my headers are built around the stock box.
      Thanks!

Iroc box should work well I would think. If its dimensions are not exeact they have to be pretty close.

I did the IROC gear box upgrade on my 69 Camaro and both boxes were the same size.

I believe that AGR boxes are also the same size as stockers.

Only issue is some have issues with AGR and other "named" brands. I have never heard of a Lee box NOT at least being taken care of (did her one guy had janked pump relief and Lee fixed blown seal for free) figure about $500ish , but give him a call first. Tell him what your doing he can point you in right direction. I am gonna do both my Monza and my Caprice evenually. Since I have had "store bought" before, I tend to like talking to the right person first,,, THAT would be Lee MFG.
Just sayin'. Oh and that and $1.99 gets you a liter of 'Dew here too.

Thanks guys. I'll give Lee a call then. It has to be an EXACT fit with the turbo headers.
Any idea what I gotta spend?

      69 steering box Q

Like several comments on here call Tom Lee. I would ask him about rebuilding yours. They can change the ratio if you want them to. Also go ahead and have your pump rebuilt/valved if it is the original one while you are at it.

Know that if you go to the newer 600 series the ports are about 3/8" more towards the splined end. If your like me. That makes a difference. I was able to make it work still but it's pretty tight.
