Why do you like hydroboost.

I am coverting a deisel car that already has hydro boost stock. Never cared for them when I drove them seemed hard to modulate and slow to respond. But several people run it. Is the aftermarket one tuned different? Thanks Rod

I've never had an issue with responsiveness. I have two Astros with HB and I can tell you they are both VERY responsive. I used the HB extensively this morning coming to work across I-96... :(
The big plus with HB is it doesn't rely on engine vacuum to operate. Being that it is driven off the power steering pump your camshaft selection can be crazy stupid with low overlap numbers (which creates times of low engine vacuum) and not affect the braking assist.
