      Anyone in the Denver area?

The wife and I are coming to the Denver area. I have a training class. What are the must sees and things to do? We plan on driving around to see the mountains and would like some info on sites and places to visit. Oh... we will be there the week of Sept 12.

      Thanks,
      Sean James

Well I am up in WY. in your site seeing I sugest you checking out Lookout Mtn. It is off I-70 west of Denver, toward Golden. It will give you a great veiw of the area an if so inclined take the run down the back side. Major fun

There's some pretty decent attractions in and around Denver to see. The Museum of Natural History is a good bet. If you are wanting to see the mountains I would suggest taking a trip up to Estes Park. It's a pretty touristy town up the thompson canyon with lots of shopping and hiking etc. You could also head west on I70 and hit breckonridge. It's beautifull this time of year.

There's also Six Flags Elitch Gardens near downtown denver. Even the night life is pretty good if you are in to that sort of thing.

I'm in Colorado Springs... 90 miles south of Denver... and there are tons of things to see and do down here... Pike's Peak, Royal Gorge, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, etc, etc.
