      Newbie w/ a Ford...

      Hello all,
      I'm new to the Forum so I thought I'd say Hi. I have a '67 Ford Mustang with a fuel injected (HP EFI) 306 (289 block, 302 crank, .030"). I've been building the car for years (too many) but am getting the the point of finishing the more recent phase of the build, though it'll never be done. It's equipped with a full interior, but I plan to autocross the car and use it at HPDE (high performance driving event) weekends / Track Days / time trials.



      I've done every bit of the work on this car, except actually spraying the paint and installing the exhaust. That means I have no-one to blame when things don't work right!

      I've never met any of them, but I have been taking notice of the impact on the hobby that gentlemen like Mark Steilow, Kyle (& Stacy) Tucker and Brian Finch have been having, along with the optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge and believe this to be the most exciting movement to happen to our vintage car hobby in...ever. When I first started working on my Mustang was in the late 90's and 'exciting' was winning a trophy at the car show. Admirable and noteworthy yes...exciting - No. I would like to drive the heck out of my car, and that's what's drawn me to the Pro-Touring.com forum. Thanks for having me!

      I had a '67 in a similar color way back when, with a lovely vinyl top--there are still people around who remember me scaring them in it on twisty roads from 10+ years ago...
