      1971 Monte Carlo Rearend Width

Does anyone know if a 1971 Monte Carlo rearend is the same width as a 1971 Chevelle, I've looked online but have failed to find anything so I decided to ask the experts...

      thanks, Jeff

And if you want a narrower housing look for a 64-67 A body. My 70 MC would rub with Corvette 8" ralleys 4 " back space, but fit perfect with older rear diff!
