BBC EFI Intake Question

Hey guys,
Quick question. I'm building a 427 bbc for my camaro. I'll be putting a carb on the top to get it running and will be getting Tony at AFR to port match it to my AFR 265 oval port heads. With that being said, eventually I want to turn the engine into fuel injection. Instead of having Tony port two intakes, can I get the efi intake from edelbrock for Tony to port and some how close the injector ports off until i'm ready to fuel inject it? This would have to be something that would be easily reversible for the efi time. Like I said, I have no idea so wanted to rely on the knowledge of the forum before buying the intake.
