      BBC EFI Intake Question

      Hey guys,
Quick question. I'm building a 427 bbc for my camaro. I'll be putting a carb on the top to get it running and will be getting Tony at AFR to port match it to my AFR 265 oval port heads. With that being said, eventually I want to turn the engine into fuel injection. Instead of having Tony port two intakes, can I get the efi intake from edelbrock for Tony to port and some how close the injector ports off until i'm ready to fuel inject it? This would have to be something that would be easily reversible for the efi time. Like I said, I have no idea so wanted to rely on the knowledge of the forum before buying the intake. Thanks for your help!

I don't know how one would plug injector bungs since they are smooth bore fittings ...maybe an expansion plug of some sort. Intakes are pretty easy to change out and would be a small chore to achieve in addition to fuel rail mounting etc needed to change things out. If intent on port matching now get second intake done and set aside til that time comes. Otherwise wait til that time comes and port when swapping new intake.

Are you running an Edelbrock Super Victor EFI Manifold?
Several Years ago, Amazon had the Pontiac Edelbrock Super Victor on sale for an reduclisly Low price.
There was a buying frenzy. at the Pontiac Forums Performance Years.
Then folks started asking the question can the EFI Manifold be used with a carburetor.
Forum member Tom Vaught came up with a set of injector bung plugs for the Edelbrock Super Victor EFI Manifold
You might contact Tom, to inquire if he has any plug sets left.
