PT Cadillac Style!
I know Schwartz built a Cadillac one time so why not again?
What do think about a PT Cadillac Seville from the 1970's? I just bought this car.
1976 Cadillac Seville "San Remo" 2 door Coupe. Notice I said 2 door Coupe? All the Seville's from this era were 4 door cars that shared a chassis with the NOVA, Omega and Phoenix. There were numerous custom Coach builders who made all sorts of different and mostly ugly variations on the Seville from Neo-Classics to Convertibles. The BEST were from Coach Design Group out of Beverly Hills California. They made very nice 4 seat 2 door Seville San Remo Convertibles and a very few 4 seat 2 door San Remo coupes. This is one of those San Remo coupes. The wheel base is still stock Seville with body modified from a 4 door to a 2 door all the while maintaining the stock wheel base and interior space. This company was the only coach builder to actually lengthen the doors to the give the car the proper proportions. The conversion cost when new was $26K on top of the $14K price tag of a new Seville to use for the conversion. The first picture is the actual car when new. The last big picture is the car in as purchased this week. The second picture is of a Seville San Remo Convertible. The fourth and fifth picture are of this car when new.
This car is still all stock with the 350 PORT fuel injected Olds engine, Turbo 400 transmission and 4 wheel disc brakes. The front sub-frame is the same as a 2nd gen Camaro/Firebird and the rear is leaf springs. Rip off the vinyl roof, throw on some suspension goodies and let's not forget big wheels and this just might make a neat looking PT car.
Another goofy A$$ project from the Hillbillies of Tennessee!
