welding on my car
What is the proper way to weld on my car. It is fully wired with a full msd ignition. How should i go about welding with out frying any thing?

1. Disconnect ALL chassis grounds, and battery ground.
2. Put your welding ground as close as possible to the weld area.
3. Clean the metal where you put your ground as good as you clean the weld area.-Matt

damn that seems like a pain. i should put quick disconects on all of my grounds so i can weld with less trouble if i ever need too

Seems like all that would do is double the chance of a bad ground.
