      Sway bar spring rate??

I am looking to build my own sway bar setup. What I am looking for is the actual wheel rates of a performance sway bar. I know that the perfect bar will be on a per-car basis with weight, CG, etc taken into account. I am just looking for an estimated figure that will get me into the ball park. Basically if you had a modern pro touring car with no springs or shocks, just a sway bar and one control arm was held solid at it's lowest point then you jack up the other arm, what would the spring rate on that side be? I could really use figures for both the front and rear. Or I could even calculate this on my own if I knew the lb per degree that a regular performance splined sway bar (just the bar itself) would yeild

Not sure if this will help you or not, but this is what I used to calculate rates and it was pretty close. Got me in the ball park enough to order my bars from Speedway. I downloaded the spreadsheet and went crazy. According to speedway, their effective length is total length minus 7".
