      Lost Vette

I know it is a long shot but I thought I would give it a try. My father passed away whe I was ten from cancer and at the time he was restoring a 61 vette shortly after he passed my mother had to sell it due our financial issues from medical bills. I have been trying to hunt it down over the past few years with no luck. After years of digging I have come up with a vin had a DPS friend run it for me with no luck. About the only thing I remember about the sale is my mom telling me she thought the guy was taking it to Germany but was not sure. She passed acouple of years ago so I cant get any more info on the sale. I have check the Corvette forums and those guys were very nice and helpful. I even posted on a German Vette site. I know this community is well connected and thought I would give it a try. It was orignally white with a silver insert but was repainted white with a blue insert. Vin is 10867S104505 sold in 1986. I wish I had more info. Thanks

I wish there was a easy way to run a vin in Europe. But I think checking a vin there is much more difficult than here. Thanks for the help!! I will take anything.
