      Good info source

      I will be doing a conversion and was looking for a good book to read... Most important to me is wiring and fuel... any advice appreciated...

      Latest I know of, hp books # 1566. chevy ls engine conversion handbook by Shawn Henderson of retro lsx.

      Of course these conversion have many more options of doing a certain thing than one book will list.
      of interest to me with my 10 year old 99'ls1 install into an 83 el camino is the use of a later model plastic tank with it's baffles & sendin unit. In my case ,the later b-body impala wagon, buickroadmaster tank is a good choice that can fit like it belongs there.

      Honestly, the books out there are several years behind, especially in wiring. Check out the LS1tech conversion page and this guy for wiring:

      As for fuel systems, it is heavily dependent on the car you're swapping into. In tank baffled, sumped pumps are the best option. I've decided on any future swaps, I'm using OEM style plastic tubing and nylon fittings. Inexpensive and very reliable.
