      Hello from Southern California

Hey everyone, my name is Eddie and I live just outside of Los Angeles. I ran across this site while researching suspension componenets for one of my vehicles. I have three classics and I will try to post pics.

I currently own a 1970 el camino SS clone, a 1966 Mustang hardtop coupe and a 1961 Morris Minor truck. I was planning on doing the PT/autocross thing with the el camino but instead I've decided to do the Mustang instead. Pro-touring the Morris Minor would be cool but it would also be a major undertaking that I don't think I'm ready for. I'd like to get involved with some autocross action and it seems to me like the Mustang is best suited for that. I hope to get some good ideas from this site and my goal is to be out autocrossing in 2 years.

      Hello from Southern California

Welcome Eddie. That's a good looking stang. Do yourself plenty of research before making decisions. You will thank yourself. DSE as well as many others offer great suspension set ups for the car. Good luck and start a build thread even tho you already have a complete car. It's neat to follow these cars through their transformation.

      Welcome aboard Eddie.

My family had a '70, '71' and a '72 el Camino. I spent many of my youth hours wrenching on them.

Where are you in So. Cal?

Welcome to the site! You should check out the Return to the Coast event happening at El Toro in early October.
