Which front end?
My father, and I are buildind a 69 Camaro. We both want a LS1- type engine. Should we buy an aftermaket subframe( Heidts, Fatman,etc), or just change to rack and pinion, with tubular control arms?

what are you looking to spend? That will answer a lot. what are your plans? a good street car, or track car?

money is in the 2k-3k range. I want to have a SilverState car, Pops wants a little less.

a good choice in that price range might be the dse coil-over kit.i've used one and really liked it.and think pony express,not the ss.remember to buget all the way to the end,many cars start down this path and never get finished.a little at a time and build as you go.also,nothing wrong with coventional coils and the guldstrand mod.forget the rack.get the iroc box and have it reworked for better feel.have you read pozzi's tech site?always good to listen to another opinion.
