Help planning Elec system

I am planning on installing my painless wiring harness within the next couple of weeks and want them to be hidden as much as posible. I think I have a handle on that side of it, just run the approriate wires to the variuos things and hook up. I know not quite that simple, but you know what I mean.

I am planning on running the battery in the trunk and this is where I am unsure. My plan is to ground the battery to the rear frame, then run a positive wire to the front floorboard near the starter. Then go thru the floor with pass-thru type of bulkhead to the starter.

I was planning on running this positive wire thru a Ford type solenoid near the battery. I have looked at MAD Electrical site, and I was planning on getting their relocation kit. Are they any good? Everything included?

Do I need to run a negative and ground to some place else? Where does my power to the fuse box come from? Does it come from the distribution block near the front of the car.

Any problems I need to look out for?
