70 chevelle ss 454 wiw

I have a customer that has a very clean 1970 ss with a non original 454
It was a 4 speed now a tremec 5 speed
12 bolt with 373

I will post pics ASAP
However it's maroon with black stripes
A real ss car but non original drive train

He want 18 k
Rumor has it 15 will take it

I'm not real involved with chevy
So help me out guys
Tips ? Suggestions?
