How nice of a car? Enclosed trailer? I've seen some junk transport vehicles with some drivers that could care less if your car is junk, or a show car.

The guy that bought my Camaro went through a broker and got a cheap price. The problem I have with that is you have no idea who is handling your car. On top of that, this guy shows up with a nice enclosed one car trailer, has me pull it all the way in, so that the front bumper was almost touching the front of the trailer. He then proceeds to use 1" nylon motorcycle straps to strap the car down with!! He would hook it to the floor hook, feed it through the beautiful billet rim and back to the same hook. Then ratchet is tight. I took a ton of pictures of this and emailed them to the buyer as well as called him up. I was freaked. Lucky for him it showed up in one piece, other than the scratches in the rims from the non protected straps.

Shipping a car is way stressful... That is why I don't like brokers and try to deal direct with a shipping company or an individual.. uship.com allows for that. Either that or I use Passport Transport. They are a little more, but only use enclosed trailers and are an actual shipping company, not a broker.
