Hey Brandon, that center was shot peen'ed. Hundreds, if not thousands of small pellets are shot at it to strengthen the material. Leaving tiny dimples on the surface.

Actually it would be millions, and they are not pellets, they are steel or glass balls. I shot peen things for a living.



I really wish I would have waited on my wheels...I'd be rocking a set of those VR15's instead of my ho-hum New Gen's.

Thanks for the correction! I love that finish man, looks amazing. And those VR15's are something special LOL, everytime i see it, it makes me want to changes my wheel setup AGAIN! LOL.

That is cool. I have heard of shot peening, but not seen it in a custom wheel finish.
