      Gauge Measurements.

Does anyone know how the gauge measurements work? Is it typically from the outside ring, or just the gauge itself?

Generally if it sais its a 5" gauge then that indicates the outer ring. Here is an example of my Autometer Ultralite gauges.

      5" gauges
      Outer ring is approx 5"
Part you stick into hole is around 4.5"

      2.2" gauges
      Outer ring is 2.2"
Part you stick in hole is 2"

Hahahaha. When will you learn. Its not the size of the gauge, its how you use it!

For example, use it to get down the track in 11 seconds or less.
